Sophomore Isabelle Hanno scored the game’s lone goal as Lowville’s girls soccer team edged Watertown, 1-0 on Friday night in a divisional crossover game in the Frontier League.

Hanno finished off a crossing pass from Erin Fayle in the 50th minute to tally the deciding goal for the Red Raiders (2-0-0).

Freshman goalkeeper Alexis Bach made seven saves to register the shutout, her second in as many games for the Red Raiders. Lowville shut out Indian River, 2-0 in its season opener on Wednesday.

Katie Aldrich finished with 16 saves for the Cyclones (1-2-1, 1-1-0).

SOUTH JEFFERSON 2, INDIAN RIVER 0

Mikaela Rutter and Morgan Alexander scored to help fuel the Spartans to a crossover victory at Philadelphia.

Jackie Decker made 11 saves for South Jefferson (1-0).

Indian River is 1-2, 0-2.

CARTHAGE 5, GENERAL BROWN 1

Mackenzie Kidder tallied two goals and assisted on another to help spark the Comets to a crossover triumph in Dexter.

Paige Kaune scored twice for Carthage (1-0-1), which scored five consecutive goals after allowing the game’s first tally.

Rebekah Zehr also scored for the Comets and goalie Becky Brandal made nine saves.

Chelsea VanTassel made eight saves for the Lions (0-2).

BEAVER RIVER 2, SANDY CREEK 0

Raegan Becker and Kaylee Olmstead each provided goals as the Beavers opened their season with a “C” Division win over the Comets in Beaver Falls.

Mariah Abel notched a shutout with nine saves for Beaver River.

McKenna Guarasce made eight saves for Sandy Creek.

THOUSAND ISLANDS 3, SOUTH LEWIS 0

Kerstin Phelps’s goal on a direct kick in the 57th minute highlighted the Vikings season-opening win over the Falcons in “C” Division play at Turin.

Morgan Robbins and Ashley Howard both scored and Aliceson Cornaire made 10 saves for the shutout for Thousand Islands (1-0).

Miranda Rys stopped 12 shots for South Lewis (0-1).

ALEXANDRIA 4, SACKETS HARBOR 0

Amanda Lingenfelter scored all four goals as the Purple Ghosts blanked the Patriots in Frontier League “D” Division girls soccer.

Goalie Morgan Weaver made 14 saves to record her first varsity shutout for Alexandria (1-1).

Also for Purple Ghosts, Emilie Walti notched her first varsity assist.

Lauren Harrienger made 19 saves for Sackets Harbor (0-2).

COPENHAGEN 7, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 0

Claire Stackel tallied two goals and registered two assists to pace the Golden Knights to a “D” Division triumph in Copenhagen.

Emma Roberts scored two goals for Copenhagen (2-0), and Sydney Greene contributed a goal and an assist.

Alicia Evans and Nicole Gardner each tallied a goal for the Golden Knights.

Mackenzie Wheeler made just two saves to post the shutout for Copenhagen.

Karlie Maloney made 18 saves for the Panthers (1-1).

MORRISTOWN 1, HARRISVILLE 1 (OT)

Samantha Rounds scored off a pass from Mallory Baker to give the Pirates a tie with the Green Rockets in a West Division game, which also served as the season opener for both schools in Harrisville.

Victoria Mitchell scored for the Green Rockets.

LISBON 1, HERMON-DEKALB 0

Jackie Sovie made four saves to record her second straight shutout as the Golden Knights defeated the Demons (0-1) in a Northern Athletic Conference West Division game in DeKalb Junction.

Maddie Vine scored her fourth goal of the season for Lisbon (2-0-1 overall, 1-0-1 division) in the 20th minute with Beth Crowley assisting.

HEUVELTON 8, CLIFTON-FINE 1

Alexis Weidner scored three goals, giving her seven already this season, as Heuvelton (2-0-1, 1-0-1) routed Clifton-Fine in a West Division game in Heuvelton.

Logan Tallman scored one goal with three assists for Heuvelton. Kylie Pierce, Alex Steele, Hannah Thornhill and Ashlyn Foster also scored goals for Heuvelton. Erica Daniels scored for the Eagles (0-1).

HAMMOND 5, EDWARDS-KNOX 2

Courtney Bova scored three goals and Mikayla Horton added two goals and two assists as Hammond (1-0) defeated Edwards-Knox in a West Division game in Russell.

Cambree White and Darien Fenton scored for the Cougars (0-1).
