OGDENSBURG — Jackie Sovie made three saves and was named the Most Valuable Player as Lisbon defeated Ogdensburg Free Academy, 1-0, in the championship game of OFA’s girls soccer tournament on Wednesday.

Maddie Vine scored the only goal for the Golden Knights (1-0-1 overall) in the 36th minute.

Vine was named to the all-tournament team along with Courtney Sherwin for OFA (1-1) and teammate Jordyn Marcellus.

Heuvelton’s Rachel Thornhill and Aleah Palmer from Norwood-Norfolk also made the team.

NORWOOD-NORFOLK 0

Alexis Weidner scored two goals as the Bulldogs defeated Norwood-Norfolk (0-2) in the consolation game of the OFA Tournament.

Maddie St. Pierre, Erin Kennedy and Hannah Thornhill also scored for Heuvelton (1-0-1) while Paige McCormick made five saves for the shutout.

PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 7, ST. REGIS FALLS 0

Kodi Perkins scored one goal and assisted on another as Parishville-Hopkinton routed the Saints in a nonleague game in St. Regis Falls. It was the season opener for both teams.

Sophie Norman, Nicole White, Cassara Cole, Augustia Moulton, Abigail White and Marlee Wilson all scored goals for the Panthers.

BOYS SOCCER

LISBON 6, HERMON-DEKALB 0

Adam Kelley scored two goals to lead the Golden Knights past Hermon-DeKalb (0-1) in an Northern Athletic Conference West Division game in Lisbon.

Reilly Alberto, Jordan Kane, Kody Allen and Josh Lampett also scored for Lisbon (2-1, 1-0) and Jimmy Robinson made one save for the shutout.

PERU 2, MALONE 1

Ethan Brown scored in the 69th minute to lead the Indians past Malone in a nonleague game in Peru. It was the opener for the Huskies.

Jacob Dick also scored for Peru. Isai Paredones scored for Malone.
