POTSDAM — Potsdam police charged four men Sunday in the theft of a picnic table from a Market Street pizza shop.

Police charged Joseph E. Romeo, 20, and Shane P. O’Brien, both of Baldwinsville, Benjamin J. Ewald, 19, Pennellville, and Matthew C. Manahan, 20, St. Albans, Vt., with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

Police received a report of a wooden picnic table having been stolen from Little Italy early Aug. 21. Police found the table at a residence on Bay Street, and the suspects turned themselves in, police said.

The four were issued appearance tickets returnable to Potsdam Village Court.
