Fifty local diners, cafes and pubs were surveyed to determine if healthier options, meals, sides and children’s meals were on the menu and how they market food and drink, including healthier options.

Honored: Stacey Zeigler, physical therapy department clinical associate professor at Clarkson University, Potsdam, has been appointed to a national task force, commissioned by the American Physical Therapy Association. She will serve on the task force to define physical therapists’ role in prevention, wellness, fitness and disease management for public policy purposes. Ms. Zeigler has been a faculty member at Clarkson since 2003 and a licensed physical therapist since 1994. She received a doctorate in physical therapy in 2005 from Simmons College, Boston, Mass., and has 19 years of clinical experience in several settings.
