LOWVILLE Lewis County General Hospital has added a new obstetrician/gynecologist to its medical staff.
Dr. Norman M. Neches has joined Womens Health Center Obstetrics & Gynecology practice and is currently accepting new patients, according to a release from the hospital.
We are very happy to welcome Dr. Neches to Lewis County General Hospital and look forward to continuing to provide our patients with the highest quality care, close to home, Dr. Daniel Pisaniello, the hospitals clinic medical director, said in a statement.
A native of New York City, Dr. Neches was in private practice for more than 10 years in Washington D.C., where he was on staff at George Washington University Medical Center, and was attending physician with the Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center in Newburgh. Most recently, he was on staff at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
He has also served on the board of trustees of Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, and as program director of the OB/GYN residency program and associate chairman for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush University Medical College, Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, Ill.
Dr. Neches graduated with his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, and completed his post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center.
The practice is on the second floor of the North State Street hospitals Medical Arts Building.
