Racing returns to Mohawk Speedway after week off

AKWESASNE - After a week off last week, Mohawk International Raceway is gearing up for another exciting night this evening as Cedar View Golf Course presents a full racing program featuring the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Mod Lites, and Bandits.

The 2013 racing season is coming to an end very quickly with just three point nights remaining before we crown champions in all of our weekly divisions. The raceway also has our big weekend planned next month with all four DIRTcar Divisions on hand during the two day event on September 13 and 14, as well as the Go Nuclear Late Model Series Double Header. The 2013 season will end the following weekend with the annual “Ironman Slick” Enduro.

Points battles are very close in almost every division and with just three races remaining it be exciting down the stretch drive. Come on out to Mohawk International Raceway this Friday night and watch how these battles unfold. Track champions and Frenchie’s series champions will be crowned on Friday, August 30th

Please note that the Pro Stock division is not on the card for this evening.

Pit Gates and Spectator area will open at 4 p.m. Heat race action will get underway at 7:30 p.m. Pit Admission is $25 with DIRTcar License and $30 without. Grandstand Admission is only $12 with children 12 and under admitted for free.
