Doris G. Wheaton, 84, of 222 Proctor Ave., was ticketed Thursday at 12:50 p.m. for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign following an accident at Morris Street and Jersey Avenue. Ogdensburg police identified the other driver as Penelope E. Riley, 50, of 7809 County Route 27, Lisbon.

City fire and police officials and a National Grid crew were called Thursday at 12:41 p.m. to the 300 block of King Street where a transformer blew due to a broken fuse. Fire officials said there were some power outages, but repairs were made.

Scott M. Kroeger, 29, of 504 Ford Ave., was arrested Thursday at 12:23 p.m. on a city court bench warrant for failure to appear, city police said.

Patrick K. Kennedy Sr., 31, of 411 Main St., was arrested Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. on a city court bench warrant for failure to appear, city police said.
