POTSDAM - Amy Flack was installed as the 2013-14 president of the Rotary Club of Potsdam at its 85th anniversary dinner in June.

Rotary District 7040 Assistant District Governor Walt Mulyca performed the ceremony, during which Christa Carroll was recognized as incoming president-elect and Maureen Farina as outgoing president.

A native of Lewiston, Maine, Flack is the executive director of the Community Performance Series, in residence at SUNY Potsdam. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in theatre management from Ithaca College.

Previous to her current position, Flack was executive director of the Thousand Islands Performing Arts Fund and manager of its Clayton Opera House. She has also served as donor relations coordinator at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, and in New York City with the American Ballet Theater and the Princess Grace Foundation.

Flack resides in Norwood with her husband, Tim.

The Potsdam Rotary Club meets at noon each Wednesday at Ponderosa in Potsdam. Guests are welcome.
