An Ulster County man will be back in city court next week to answer charges stemming from a driving while intoxicated arrest earlier this month.

In Ogdensburg City Court on Tuesday, Daniel P. Williams, 42, of Bloomington, was arraigned on July 3 charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a breath screening test.

According to city court records, Mr. Williams registered a blood alcohol content of .32 percent, which is four times the state’s 0.08 percent legal threshold for intoxication. Under state law, aggravated driving while intoxicated is charged for a BAC of 0.18 percent or higher.

He was arrested by city police at 1134 Paterson St.

Judge William R. Small adjourned Mr. Williams’s case to July 30, at which time he will be represented by the St. Lawrence County Public Defender’s Office.

Also in city court on Tuesday, Shayne A. Austin, 20, last known address 30 Country Club Road, Gouverneur, was arraigned on a March 2 charge of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Court records stated that Mr. Austin possessed a stolen Troy-Bilt brand snowblower belonging to Benton Rolfe.

Mr. Austin’s case was adjourned to July 30. He is represented by the Public Defender’s Office.
