CARTHAGE — A village woman is being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the elbow with a kitchen knife Wednesday evening.

Eliesha M. Miner, 29, of 230 N. Main St., was charged by state police with third-degree assault, second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police said Aaron Worden, of 25289 Route 411, Theresa, was taken to Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, and treated for a minor stab wound. The incident happened during a domestic dispute at his home.
