CLAYTON The Clayton Improvement Associations board of directors has named Kristi P. Dippel head of Claytons Local Development Corp. as the nonprofits next leader.
Michael P. Bristol, vice president of the association board, said that Ms. Dippel has done an outstanding job for the LDC and that the Clayton Improvement Association is thrilled to hire her as its new executive director.
This is a great opportunity that I am really looking forward to. Im so glad that both organizations were able to put this together. Its very important to me that the CLDC will be able to keep doing some of the wonderful projects that they have become known for, Ms. Dippel said in a news release.
She has served as Clayton LDCs executive director since 2010 and would continue her involvement with the corporation on a contract basis, according to the release.
Ms. Dippels predecessor, Susan J. Farmer, was fired recently by the nonprofits board of directors. Both parties have declined to comment on the circumstances surrounding Ms. Farmers termination because of pending legal matters.
