AMSTERDAM The Watertown Rams extended their winning streak to four games with a 6-2 victory over the Amsterdam Mohawks on Friday night in Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League play at Shuttleworth Park in a game shortened to seven innings because of rain.
The Rams (22-15), who expanded their lead in the West Division to 3 1/2 games, are tied for the league lead in wins (22) with East Division leader Glens Falls.
Watertown (8-2 in its past 10 games) owns the leagues best home record at 11-3, improved to 11-12 on the road.
Also for the Rams, catcher Colin Theroux was added to the West Division roster for the leagues All-Star Game on Wednesday at Newark, and infielder Tyler Decker of Adams was selected to represent the team in the events home run derby.
Watertown will host Cooperstown at 7 tonight and entertain Newark at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
