The Ogdensburg Ladies Golf Association travelled to Massena Tuesday for this seasons second Foothills match. Gouverneurs Heather Mackinnon shot the medalist score of 87 to lead her club to first place for the days event.
Chris Matecjik, Dodie Hilts, Bosh Sigourney, and Marie Frenyea rounded up her team. In a very close second, by one shot, Massena was led by Rose Bronchetti (89), Claire Wright, Shawna Cecot, Kathy Parisian, and Rowene Lett.
Third place was captured by Cantons Juanita White (95), Deb Ormasen, MaryAnn Axtell, Julie Degone, and Colleen Coakley. They were followed by Potsdam with Terri Gilchrist (91), Karen OBrien, Lorraine Ford, Joyce Doran, and Angela Ormond.
Ogdensburg was led by Peg Langley (97), Beryl Trombley, Jean Bracy, Mary Allan, and Gail Bouchard. Low nets for the Burg were carded by Gail Bouchard (81), Kay Hannan,Shirley Pitcher, Lorraine LaRose, and Harriett Bartlett.
The over-all standings at this point place Canton in first with 33 1/4 points, Gouverneur second with 32 3/4, Massena 32 1/4, Potsdam 16, and Ogdensburg 15 3/4.
