DEKALB JUNCTION — Physician assistant Ronald E. Simmons will start seeing patients July 29 at E.J. Noble Hospital’s DeKalb Junction Health Center.

Mr. Simmons received his certification from Albany Medical College and is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. He has worked at Clifton-Fine Hospital, at the federal correctional system in Ray Brook, at Mercy Healthcare Center, Tupper Lake Health Care Center and Madrid Health Care Center. Since 1991, Mr. Simmons has served as the health officer for Tupper Lake.

A veteran of the Vietnam conflict, Mr. Simmons was a combat medic.
