UTICA — Jay Gonzalez’s three hits, including a double, helped the Utica Brewers to a 4-3 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League win over the Watertown Rams on Wednesday that snapped Watertown’s seven-game winning streak.

Monte Reese picked up the win for Utica (9-10), going six innings and only giving up three runs, two earned, on seven hits. Josh Smetana pitched three innings of shutout relief for the Brewers, who trail the Rams by one game in the PGCBL West Division.

Trevor Marino and Dominic Lopez each slapped a pair of hits for Watertown (12-11).

The Rams return home to host the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs at 7 tonight at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
