The funeral for Marjorie E. Riordan, 85 of 19456 Lloyd Road Watertown will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of TLC Funeral Home, Inc. Calling hours will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Adams State Road Cemetery in Honeyville. Mrs. Riordan died at the Samaritan Medical Center on July 2, 2013.

She was born July 13, 1927 in Gouverneur, NY the daughter of Emery and Ethel Tuttle Tamblin. Mrs. Riordan graduated from Sackets Harbor Central School. She married Kenneth J. Riordan on April 6, 1947 in Sulphur Springs, New York. Mr. Riordan passed away on March 31, 2005.

Mrs. Riordan was a homemaker that enjoyed the love and time spent with her family, photography and sewing. She will be remembered for the love and the time spent with her grandchildren and for always having a camera in her hand.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to a college fund being established for her grandchildren and great grandchildren at c/o Polly Murdock, 19221 County Route 69, Adams, NY 13605.

Surviving are her sons and daughters in law, Gary and Jeanette Riordan of Mannsville, Terry and Jody Riordan of Adams Center, Cary and Lorraine Riordan of Lorraine and her daughter and son in law, Mrs. Vaughn (Polly) Murdock of Adams, her brother and sister in law Richard and Norma Tamblin of Rodman her sisters and brother in law, Shirley Corbine of Canton, Nancy Anthony of Oswego, and Mrs. Lewis (Claudia) Draper of Valley, Alabama, a sister in law, Etta Tamblin of Florida , a brother in law Theodore Franchot of Williamson, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and an aunt, Elaine Boney of Hailsboro, NY. Two brothers, Arnold and David Tamblin, a sister Barbara Franchot, and a sister in law, Audrey Tamblin died before her.
