Dolores May Allison, age 79, passed away on June 12, 2013. She was born on April 27, 1934 in Dexter, NY to Charles Townsend Sr. and Alyettia Beaumont Townsend.

Dolores is now hand in hand with her beloved husband of 60 years, Raymond Allison, who passed away on January 24, 2013. Dolores was residing in Paisley FL and is survived by her 3 loving children, David Allison, Paisley, FL; Deborah (David) Brigham, Dexter, NY and Peggy Allison, Colorado Springs, CO; 4 grandchildren Carrie, Jason, Erik and Adam; 3 great grandchildren Riley, Lily and Alexis. She is also survived by three brothers, Robert, Central Square, NY; Charles, Philadelphia, NY; Paul, Limerick, NY.

Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of who she was very close to. She spent many hours quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting; many of her projects were for her kids or “those babies” over the years. She enjoyed bird watching (especially the hummingbirds), using her computer, visiting with her family and later learned that texting was great fun.

Dolores and Raymond were always inseparable in their love and their lives with each other. They enjoyed many years and hundreds of miles traveling together across the U.S. visiting National Parks and seeing the beautiful scenery of the amazing places they went.

Dolores was a loving and devoted wife and mother every day of her life and was always there for her family. Every time we would say, “I love you”, her reply would always be “Love you more.” Her loving presence in our lives will be missed more than words can ever say. We will miss her and love her forever and she will always be in our hearts. Dolores and Raymond are together again as they were in life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612 or wwww.moffit.org/giving in Dolores’s name and/or sign up for the Organ Donor Program, as they were both very close to her heart.
