Massena man charged with criminal trespass

CRIMINAL TRESPASS - MASSENA - Village police charged Stacy R. White, 57, of 26 Parker Ave., Massena, with second-degree criminal trespass Wednesday morning. He was reportedly upset a family member was making an early morning visit to Matthew Gardner at 38 Parker Ave., Apt. 2. Mr. Gardner told police White damaged a door to enter his residence and also kicked in an interior door inside his apartment. He said White then charged at him, and he was able to place his intruder in a headlock before he was shoved into a wall. He said police arrived on the scene moments after the incident reported at 6:29 a.m. Wednesday. Gardner was arraigned by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gardner and released on his own recognizance. The court signed a temporary order of protection directing White to stay away from Mr. Gardner.
