Tasha M. Sawyer, 23, of 887 W. Main St., Upper Apt., was charged by Watertown police at 2:14 a.m. Saturday at 500 W. Main St. with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving without a license and illegal use of a mobile telephone.
Police said that while traveling east, her vehicle struck a parked sedan with its four-way flashers illuminated. The sedan, registered to Logon P. Lyons, 20, of P10602 5th Armored Division Drive, Fort Drum, was being operated by Nevin A. Bradford, 22, Memphis, Tenn., and was pushed into a parked vehicle owned by Lisa A. Bondurant, 49, of 242 Central St., police said.
Ms. Sawyers sedan bounced off the car operated by Mr. Bradford and slid sideways, police said.
Police said Ms. Sawyer then accelerated, striking the sedan operated by Mr. Bradford again on the front left door. The two vehicles were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Ms. Sawyers blood alcohol content was measured at 0.19 percent at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, police said. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
She was given a ticket to appear in Watertown City Court.
