SYRACUSE — Former Syracuse University wide receiver Art Monk will be inducted into the NFF College Football Hall of Fame during an enshrinement ceremony on Aug. 28 in Atlanta.

Monk is one of 24 honorees and will be the 10th former Orange player to be honored. He was officially inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in December.

Monk, who played from 1976-79, is tied for ninth all-time in SU history with 102 career receptions and ranks 10th with 1,644 career receiving yards. He later starred in the NFL with the Washington Redskins.
