■ The city of Watertown’s hydrant flushing will continue today with Waite, Hazelhurst and Breen avenues and Bradley, Cedar, Emmett, West Prospect and Boon streets.

n PORT LEYDEN — The Lyonsdale Town Council has set a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the town office. The sole purpose of the meeting will be to discuss Teamsters union negotiations.

n CAPE VINCENT — The Town Council will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. July 3 at the town offices, Route 12E, to discuss proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2013 for the creation of a code enforcement officer position.

n SANDY CREEK — The Sandy Creek Town Council will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall, 1992 Harwood Drive, to discuss the Eastern Shore Water System project and any other town business that comes before the board.
