BOONVILLE Bobby Indeglia (Holy Cross) slugged a three-run home run and drove in four runs as the Watertown Rams defeated the Adirondack Trail Blazers, 8-4, on Thursday to salvage a split of a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League doubleheader at the Robert Smith Sports Complex.
Austin Hatfield (Memphis) and Tom Bouck (New Jersey Institute of Technology) each belted a grand slams as the Trail Blazers (4-8) won the first game, 10-8.
Starting pitcher Joe Adel (South Florida) earned the win to record his first victory of the season for the Rams (5-6). Catcher Collin Theroux (Nevada) doubled in three runs for Watertown in the nightcap.
The Rams have won three of their past four games, including winning two of their last three games on the road.
Watertown will host the Utica Brewers at 7 tonight at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
