WEST LEYDEN A West Leyden man was charged Friday afternoon with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny after he allegedly stole a pair of vehicles.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies said Dylan E. Burke, 19, Witzigman Road, took a 1966 International truck Thursday and a 1995 Subaru Outback on Friday from a camp in the town of Lewis.
The department said that with the help of the Oneida County Sheriffs Department, Mr. Burke was found at a recycling yard in Taberg with one of the vehicles.
Arraigned in Lowville Village Court, he was sent to the Lewis County jail, Lowville, on $1,000 bail. Deputies said that more charges are forthcoming, and that Mr. Burke had accomplices in the alleged crime.
