HAMMOND — A Hammond man is accused of burning a wooden cross and shouting racial slurs in late April.

Ryann A. Wilson, 28, of 3 Shady Lawn Drive, was charged Saturday with aggravated harassment by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies said that on April 29 he built the cross, then set it on fire and shouted racial slurs directed at a guest of his neighbor, deputies said.

He was arraigned in Morristown Town Court and taken to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $10,000 cash bail.
