Audrey J. Pennock, age 77 of Slater Rd. Watertown, passed away at her home late Thursday evening under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

Audrey was born October 12, 1935 in Rome, N.Y. the daughter of Tracy and Dorothy Davis Baker. She graduated from Sackets Harbor High School and later attended Jefferson Community College.

She married Charles E. Pennock on October 23, 1954 at the Presbyterian Church in Sackets Harbor.

Audrey worked as secretary and accountant at Harblin Motors, Sackets Harbor Central School, Bomax in Watertown, Sensors and Controls in Watertown and was retired from Village Clerk of Sackets Harbor in December of 1994.

Audrey was a life-member of Harold Townsend Post 1757 Ladies Auxiliary of Sackets Harbor, Rebekahs Lodge, Sackets Harbor Order of Eastern Stars, Women of Moose Lodge in DeBary Florida, and Lake Mary First Presbyterian Church in Lake Mary, Florida. She was active in Watertown Urban Mission, Children’s Home of Jefferson County and the Masonic Child I.D. Program.

She enjoyed quilting, fishing, traveling and baking for her family and friends.

Audrey is survived by her husband Charles and children: Debra Bennett and her husband Earl of Dexter, Charles Jr. and his wife Virginia of Mannsville, James S. and his fiancée Trina Hogan of Sackets Harbor. She has six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, sisters: Marion Burns of Florida, Shirley Salisbury of Watertown and a brother Tracy Baker of Sackets Harbor.

She was predeceased by a great granddaughter, Shelby Harris and a sister Betty Baker.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 29th at 11:00a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with the Rev. Hugh Lackey of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Mary, Florida. Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 on Tuesday. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Sackets Harbor. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County 1398 Gotham St. Watertown, N.Y. 13601 or the Sackets Harbor Ambulance Squad or the Sackets Harbor American Legion Auxiliary.
