CANTON — A St. Lawrence County grand jury on Friday returned charges against several people, including two sealed indictments and the following open indictments:

Robert J. Driscoll, 28, Ogdensburg, was indicted on two counts of driving while intoxicated. He allegedly operated a 2001 Chevrolet Feb. 19 on Pray Road in the town of Lisbon with a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent.

The threshold for intoxication under state law is 0.08 percent.

James A. Regan, 23, Canton, was indicted on charges of second-degree assault, second-degree strangulation and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. According to indictment documents, he assaulted a woman during an alleged May 14 domestic incident at his 38 Gouverneur St. residence.

Zachary C. Racine, 27, Plattsburgh, and Patrick A. Frender, 23, Canton, were indicted on charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to indictment documents, the pair possessed heroin with intent to sell the drug on Dec. 11 in the village of Canton.

Russell F. Dendler, 24, Massena, was indicted on a charge of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he allegedly possessed heroin with intent to sell the drug in the Town of Louisville.

Further information was not immediately available.

Sasha S. Monroe, 23, Norfolk, was indicted on charges of third-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. According to court documents, Ms. Monroe broke into a Grantville Road home on Jan. 27 and stole a safe and collectible knives.
