An Oswego County teen drowned overnight after the paddle boat he was in capsized in a small lake in the town Williamstown, near Pulaski.
The Oswego County Sheriffs Department said Nicholas C. Bastable, 17, of 11421 Meagher Wells Road, Camden, was in the two-man paddle boat at 1:10 a.m. when it overturned in Kasoag Lake and all three people ended up in the water.
His body was found about three hours later and he was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriffs department said.
The other two unidentified people were able to swim to shore, the sheriffs department said. The investigation is continuing.
