HARRISVILLE Harrisville Central School Districts superintendent has resigned after nearly 10 years at the post.
The Board of Education at a special meeting Thursday reached a buyout agreement with Superintendent Rolf A. Waters, who has a few years left in his contract, according to board member Joseph C. Chuck Langs.
Terms of the pact were not immediately released.
It was a mutual agreement. It was time to part ways, Mr. Langs said, declining further comment.
Principal Robert N. Finster is slated to serve as interim superintendent for the district.
