MORRISTOWN The academic leaders for the class of 2013 at Morristown Central School are Kyle L. Hollister, valedictorian, and Taylor A. Fielding, salutatorian.
Mr. Hollister, son of Gary Hollister and the late Kelly Crosby Hollister, has an academic average of 92.66. He completed an internship with the St. Lawrence County Sheriffs Department and will receive criminal justice certification from Northwest Tech Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Ogdensburg. He is treasurer for the National Honor Society and a lifetime member of Black Lake Fish and Game Association. He received the University of Rochester Xerox Award and Rochester Institute of Technology Innovation and Creativity Award. Mr. Hollister has been accepted into the two plus two program at SUNY-ESF. He will begin studies at SUNY Canton and transfer to SUNY-ESF in 2015.
Miss Fielding, daughter of Darren and Julie Fielding, Ogdensburg, has an academic average of 87.45. She delivers morning papers in Ogdensburg, Morristown and Hammond and enjoys listening to music and spending time with family. She plans to join the workforce after graduation.
