Two people were charged early Wednesday by city police following a domestic dispute on Jefferson Street.

Scott A. Casario, 45, of 548 Jefferson St., upper apt., was charged with second-degree harassment and unlawful imprisonment. Police said he grabbed Andrea L. Cain, 46, of 17120 County Route 53, by her left forearm and physically restrained her and ripped her shirt and bra during the incident Tuesday night. She suffered a bruise on her arm and was struck in the eye, police said.

Ms. Cain was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. She is accused of damaging a glass window pane in Mr. Casario’s apartment.

They were both held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
