A Watertown teenager was arrested Thursday morning while in possession of heroin and cocaine, according to police.
Officers charged Drew M. Schroy, 17, of 211 S. Meadow St., with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony.
Officers executed a search warrant at his apartment at 5:15 a.m. Thursday and seized 21 bags of heroin valued at $450, 6 grams of bulk heroin valued at $1,500, 14 grams of powdered cocaine valued at $1,400, and $3,700 in cash, along with assorted drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested at the apartment was Miguel Paredes, 19, of 101 W. 165th St., Bronx. He was charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, accused of having an illegal stun gun.
Both men were transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and were scheduled to be arraigned in City Court on Thursday.
An investigation continues, according to the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force. Watertown police and the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department also took part in the case.
