TWO INJURED - CONNOLLYS CORNER - Two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision on Route 11 at Route 420 at 7:49 a.m. Wednesday.
Troopers said Kristan E. Daniels, 16, of 521 Buckton Road, was eastbound on Route 11 when she made a left hand turn to go northbound on Route 420, puling into the path of a westbound vehicle being operated by Andrew G. Cass, 60, of 636 Creek Road, Esperance. Police said Daniels struck the drivers side of the Cass vehicle.
Daniels was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way when making a left hand turn. She was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Tri-Town Rescue for a complaint of neck and back pain.
Cass was also transported by Tri-Town Rescue to Canton-Potsdam Hospital. He complained of face and shoulder pain.
Brasher-Winthrop Fire also responded to the accident scene.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - COLTON - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region Wednesday. Among those were:
■ Kerop P. Janoyan, 41, of Potsdam at 7:10 a.m. on state Route 56, near Sevey Road, in the town of Colton.
■ Shawna Marie Garrow, 19, of Canton and Jason Roger Desio, 23, of Peru were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 11:05 p.m. on the I-87 exit 35 off ramp at Bear Swamp Road in the town of Peru.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - BRUSHTON - Malone-based state police charged Justin C. Cox, 22, of Brushton with unlawful possession of marijuana at 1:40 a.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Grove Street in the village of Brushton.
