In response to the many comments and concerns regarding Walter Siebels critique of Little Sisters Inn, Kim and I appreciate all the kind words and encouragement we have received.
Mr. Siebels story, we feel, was very positive. Of course, we would have liked more forks, but the criticisms he had were fair. Rather than look at this as a negative, we will do our best to improve on the faults he found. Prior to his review, we had been working on several recipe changes, and our new menu will be coming out shortly.
One point we would like to make, obviously Mr. Siebel had not been in the restaurant for a long time as we have made several improvements. We have updated the pool room and painted and changed the dining room.
The lounge alone took nine gallons of ceiling paint. The kitchen has been totally refurbished and updated and painted throughout.
He is correct in that we do have fresh herbs growing in all the windows and will be planting our garden shortly. We look forward to improving our salads and vegetables, which will be straight off the vine.
All in all, we appreciate the story Mr. Siebel told regarding the history of the Inn and especially the positive remarks about how we are putting our hearts and souls on the line to make this work. That is so true.
We hope Mr. Siebel will come back some day and see that we have used this critique to further improve our customers dining experience.
