Watertown police charged Victor B. LePonto, 33, of 321 Prospect St., with second-degree harassment, four counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest and petit larceny about 11 p.m. Saturday on Public Square.

He is accused of breaking a window by punching it during a domestic dispute at an Academy Street residence in the presence of a 2-year-old boy Saturday night.

According to court documents, Mr. LePonto also allegedly grabbed and yelled at Autumn J. Neff, Watertown, broke two of her cellphones and stole two pictures in their frames.

He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.

During the incident, Bonnie Jo Martin, 36, of 46 Public Square, Apt. 202, interfered in the arrest by yelling at officers, police said. She was charged with resisting arrest. She was given an appearance ticket for City Court.
