DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Samantha E. Michaels, 21, of East Patchogue with driving while intoxicated and ticeted her for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights following a traffic stop at 1:33 a.m. Saturday on Hamilton Street. She reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.15 percent, nearly double the 0.08 percent threshold for a DWI.



PEDESTRIAN CROSSING VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Ian Matthew Tweeddale, 21, of Lexington, Mass., for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk following a traffic stop at 6:44 p.m. Saturday on Pierrepont Avenue.



FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Donald A. Keniston, 65, of Tupper Lake for following too closely at 7:15 p.m. Saturday following a property damage accident on Market Street at May Road.



SPEED IN ZONE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Suzanne B. Pearson, 57, of Ambler, Pa., for speed in zone (45/30) following a traffic stop at 7:57 p.m. Saturday on Market Street.



SPEED IN ZONE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Derrick S. Aryee, 19, of Bronx for speed in zone (49/30) following a traffic stop at 11:27 p.m. Saturday on Maple Street.
