CANTON One person has been arrested after a student allegedly was pepper-sprayed and robbed in a SUNY Canton residence hall Thursday morning.
College spokesman Gregory E. Kie said campus police still are investigating the 10:30 a.m. incident, and a second arrest is pending.
Further information about the case, including names, arrest details and what allegedly was stolen, was not available Friday, Mr. Kie said.
Mr. Kie said the campus community has been made aware of the incident. Anyone working, studying or visiting SUNY Canton can use the schools emergency phones, which are marked with blue lights, to reach campus police at any time, he said.
