OGDENSBURG — City police on Friday arrested a Buffalo man for allegedly selling crack cocaine in the city.

The police department’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit arrested Frederick L. Miller, 59. He had been indicted in St. Lawrence County Court for three counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.

Police said Mr. Miller was also wanted on outstanding city court bench warrants for failing to appear to answer charges of second-degree assault, second-degree strangulation and endangering the welfare of a child.

Mr. Miller is accused of selling crack cocaine in the city on three separate occasions, police said.

He was arraigned in city court on the bench warrants and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $500 bail. He was transported to County Court for arraignment on the felony charges and jailed without bail.

Further information was not available from city police Friday afternoon.
