ISSUING BAD CHECK -POTSDAM - Village police charged Edward S. Thompson, 52, of Colton with three counts of issuing a bad check and picked him up on a bench warrant from Potsdam Village Court alleging he had failed to appear as directed on an aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle charge.
Information was received that Thompson was in Ogdensburg, and a patrol responded and took him into custody.The checks written by Thompson totaled $88.70, police said.He was arraigned in Potsdam Town Court and released under the supervision of the probation department.
