The Block O Booster Club will be holding a celebrity bartender night and Kan-Jam Tournament on Saturday, May 11 at the Phoenix on the Bay to benefit OFA’s Block O Booster Club.

Lining up to sling your favorite beverages to the tunes of DJ Tom Pinkerton are: Mother and Daughter Sharon and Jackie Garvey (4-5 p.m.), Mrs. Debby King and “The Smik: Sarah Montana (5-6 p.m.), Chief Mike Farrell and Pepsi-Man Ryan Griffith (6-7 p.m.), Two Pucks and The Bull Coach Jim Howard, Skinner O’Neil and Baby Bull Steve LaRose (7-8 p.m.), The Barr’s Linda Abar and Frank Barr (8-9 p.m.), The 3-Musketeers Sharon Rered, Tina Pearson and Debbie Polniak (9-10 p.m.), Verizon Boys John Powers and Matt Pearson (10-11 p.m.), The SweetHearts Aaron and Shauna Charlton (11-Midnight), Basta’s Boy George Parish and Mr. OFA Shawn Paradis (Mid-1 a.m.), The Killer Hour Brian Sias and Mindy Small (1-2 a.m.)

The Kan-Jam Tournament will begin at noon and entry fee is $30 per team of two. The first 24 teams paid will be accepted and signups will be held at the Phoenix on the Bay.

BLOCK O ITEMS ON SALE

The Block O Booster Club is currently selling several items that will make excellent gifts. A hoodie Sweat-Shirt is charcoal or black is available for $25 for sizes small, medium, large, and extra large. A hoodie in 2x is available for $30.

New Blue and White Baseball hats are available for $20.Block O 160z. glasses with the OFA Blue Devil logo on the front and School Days and Teenage Nights letters on the back are for sale for $10 for one and $18 for two.

Tee-Shirts are available in blue for $10.

Folding Coolies for beverages are available for $3 for one and $5 for two.

And just in time for spring sports is a 62-inch wide Blue Devil Golf umbrella for $25.

All items are available from any board member including Traci Kroeger, Jerry Sheppard, Ryan Griffth, Don Swan, SueEllen Piercey, Arlene Kiah, Steve LaRose, Andy Manke, Tom Pinkerton, Carol Molinari, and Lynn Tayler.

Bottle Can Drive

The Block O Booster Club has an account setup at Dasher LLC for returnable bottles and cans. The address is 205 Cedar Street and Dasher is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday’s 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Booster Club will bedoing a Seaway Festival pick-up drive on Parade Day on Saturday, July 27.
