Lowville – Renee J. Beyer, 39, of Rector Road, Lowville, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at Upstate Medical University Hospital, Syracuse surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. Peters Catholic Church, Lowville with Rev. Christopher Carrara, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband, Dean; a son Jason, 11, a daughter, Kelsey, 9; her mother and step-father, Jane and Randolph Myers of Turin; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy and Brian Snyder of Boonville; Jolene and Scott Chrzanowski of Constableville; Caryl and Chad Petrus of Constableville; her mother and father-in-law, Nancy and Walter Beyer Jr. of Lowville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James Beyer of Lowville; Tony and Julie Beyer of Lowville; Dawn and Douglas Jackson of Croghan; Joseph and Karen Beyer of Lowville; Ernest and Amy Beyer of Lowville; Lori Beyer-Teal of Saratoga; Donald Beyer of Simpsonville, NC; Daniel and Sherry Beyer of Lowville; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was united in Marriage with Dean G. Beyer at St. Marys Catholic Church in Constableville on June 5, 1999 with Rev. Pascal Rys Officiating. Dean and Renee have made their home together on the Rector Road in Lowville with their two children.
Renee was born on February 26, 1974 in Lowville, to the late Lawrence P. Rhubart and Jane C. Jones Rhubart. She graduated from South Lewis Central School in 1992. She attended Herkimer County Community College and received her AAS in Business Administration in 1994. She continued her education at SUNY IT in Utica and graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 1996. After graduation, Renee worked for the Lodging Kit Company in Boonville as Marketing Services Manager. In October 2001, Renee began working at the Lewis County Department of Social Services, before beginning her employment with the Lewis County Planning Department as a Planner in February of 2005. Renee currently held the position of Senior Planner at the Lewis County Planning Department. In addition to being a Senior Planner she was a successful entrepreneur and the owner/operator of Aspen Knoll Cabins located on the Swernicki Road in Lowville.
Renee was a graduate of the inaugural class of the Lewis County Leadership Academy, an accomplishment she was extremely proud of. She served on the Board of Directors for Double Play Sports and was instrumental in the development and operations of this complex. She was a former member of the Board of Directors at Hand In Hand Early Childcare Center and a team sponsor and coach for AYSO soccer.
Renee was a communicant of the St. Peters Catholic Church, Lowville.
She always lived life to the fullest, achieving all that she wanted, and always looking to the future to better her familys lives. She enjoyed running, gardening, cleaning, reading, watching movies with her family, jeeping and enjoying life to the fullest.
Renee will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
