Eric A. Strader, 47, of 415 Gotham St., Apt. 5, was charged by Watertown police on Wednesday night at his residence with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Police said he purposely crossed the street in front of a patrol car when it was had its emergency lights and sirens activated during an incident about 6:51 p.m. Wednesday. Police also said he gave the officer the finger during the incident. He was found in possession of a plastic bag containing marijuana when he was arrested, police said.
He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 police bail, pending arraignment.
