Winning pitcher Louis Freda also doubled, singled twice and drove in three runs to pace Immaculate Heart Central, which opened its season with a 10-4 victory over South Jefferson in a Frontier League crossover game.

Robin Massey singled twice and stole three bases for the Cavaliers (1-0).

Austin Frechette doubled and singled for the Cavaliers.

Logan LaFlamme and Dustin Sanford each singled twice for the Spartans (1-1).

WATERTOWN 20, APW 0

Christian Jorden, Sam Maphey and Collin Jorden combined on a two-hitter as the Cyclones blanked the Rebels in a Frontier League crossover game in Parish.

Jared Bellinger doubled, singled twice, drove in a run and scored four runs for Watertown (2-2, 1-0). Maphey also doubled, drove in two runs and scored four runs.

Josh Belch and Steve Hatchell each singled twice for Watertown and knocked in three and two runs, respectively.

INDIAN RIVER 7, GENERAL BROWN 4

Ed Malinowski doubled and singled as the Warriors rallied for a crossover win in Dexter.

Bill Eichner doubled and singled, Zach LaForest-Hurd singled twice, and both drove in a run for Indian River (1-1), which trailed 4-1 before scoring six runs in the sixth inning.

Pete Will doubled for General Brown (0-3, 0-2).

THOUSAND ISLANDS 2, SANDY CREEK 1

Cameron Robbins went 2-for-3 and gave up only one run in a complete game as the Vikings scratched out a “C” Division win in Clayton.

Reed Donnelly also produced pair of hits for Thousand Islands (1-1).

Steven Smith collected two hits for Sandy Creek (0-1).

SOUTH LEWIS 12, BEAVER RIVER 2

Jason Martin struck out 10 and went 2-for-3 as the Falcons defeated the Beavers for a “C” Division win in Turin.

Nick Ripp powered South Lewis (2-0) at the plate with four RBIs, and Lucas Kelly homered and doubled.

Brandon DeLong had two hits, including a double for Beaver River (1-1).

SACKETS HARBOR 12, LYME 3

Josh Keruski doubled in three runs to spark a seven-run third inning as the Patriots won a “D” Division game in Sackets Harbor.

Ethan Meeks and Chase Urbanowicz each doubled and singled for Sackets Harbor (1-1) and Alex Keegan singled twice.

Meeks, the game’s winning pitcher, combined with Urbanowicz and Billy Newcombe on a two-hitter for the Patriots against the Indians (0-1).

CAMDEN 1, CARTHAGE 0

Austin Littler batted in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning and finished 3-for-3 to lift the host Blue Devils (1-2) to a nonleague victory.

Tyler Clemons provided a hit and a stolen base for Carthage (1-1, 1-0).

HARRISVILLE 21, CLIFTON-FINE 7

Winning pitcher Justin Hartle, Jared Dreythaler and Joey Butts each connected for three hits the Pirates scored nine runs in the third to rout the Eagles in Northern Athletic conference West play.

Nick Weir stroked two doubles for Harrisville (1-1).

SOUTH JEFFERSON 10, IHC 1

Jackie Decker belted a three-run home run and drove in five as the Spartans routed the Cavaliers for a crossover win at the Watertown Fairgrounds.

Angela Cataldo singled and doubled for South Jefferson (2-0).

A-P-W 13, WATERTOWN 0

Erin Stever smacked a grand slam in the fourth inning on her way to six RBIs as the Rebels blanked the Cyclones for a season-opening crossover victory in Parish.

Katie Palmer went 3-for-4 with a triple for APW (1-0).

Emily Caccavo had a hit and a stolen base for Watertown (0-1).

GENERAL BROWN 9, INDIAN RIVER 3

Katie Pitkin struck out 10 and Chelsea VanTassel plated three RBIs as the Lions secured a crossover victory in Dexter.

Hope VanBrocklin knocked in a pair of runs for General Brown (2-0).

Lakiesha Barnes tripled for Indian River (2-0).

SANDY CREEK 16, THOUSAND ISLANDS 0

Gabriella Guarasce drove in two runs on three hits, including a double, to help power the visiting Comets to a “C” Division victory.

Jordan Miller also provided three hits and two RBIs. Shania Darling smacked a two-RBI double, and Grace Wallace added a pair of hits for Sandy Creek.

SOUTH LEWIS 11, BEAVER RIVER 9

Ashley Szewil drove in three runs on three hits to help fuel the Falcons during a “C” Division game a Turin.

Jayden Ossant finished with two hits, including a triple, and two RBIs for South Lewis (2-0).

Dallas Briot batted in four runs on two hits, and Keanna Proulx was 3-for-3 for Beaver River (0-2).

SACKETS HARBOR 6, LYME 0

Freshman Alexis Filley tossed a two-hitter and struck out 11 in her first varsity start as the Patriots won a “D” Division game in Sackets Harbor.

Alexis Martin went 3-for-4 for Sackets Harbor (1-1).

Filley also singled twice, as did Rainy Johannessen for the Patriots.

HARRISVILLE 10, CLIFTON-FINE 5

Hannah Weaver drove in four runs and pitched the win for the Pirates in an NAC West game at Harrisville.

Jena Soper collected three singles, while Megan McIntosh delivered a double and a single for Harrisville (1-1).

BOYS LACROSSE

IHC 17, INDIAN RIVER 4

Matt Moran tallied eight points, including four goals, to spark the Cavaliers to a Frontier League “A” Division victory.

Pat Gefell and Nick Koelmel each contributed three goals and two assists for IHC (3-1). Cole Carpenter, Mike Morgia and Jordan Trudeau each added two goals.

Connor Brown scored twice to pace Indian River (1-2).

GIRLS LACROSSE

INDIAN RIVER 20, HEUVELTON 4

Katie Brierton generated seven points, including four goals, as the Warriors rolled to a nonleague win in Heuvelton.

Meghan Guler and Sarah Mattingly each notched hat tricks for Indian River (3-2).
