Malone— Sam E. Demo, 57, of Malone, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 7, 2013. He was born August 8, 1955, in Albany.
He was a graduate of Shaker High School. He enjoyed everything about the outdoors, especially spending time with his wife Kathi at their camp and fishing with his nephew Jeremy. Everyone that remembers Sam remembers his big heart, warm smile and his generosity. He and Kathi shared 18 years together.
He is predeceased by his father Benjamin, mother Patricia, and sister Mary Kay.
He is survived by his wife Kathi, brother Ben(Anna) Demo, sister Nancy(Dave) Rogers, brother-in-law Jonathon Crim, sister-in-law Mitze(Thomas)Jones and nieces and nephews Jeremy(Suzy)Crim, Rachael(Pete)Theodore, Chris Sheets, Rita Demo, Leah Demo, Zachary Rogers and Kathryn Rogers and many aunts uncles and cousins.
His careers included carpet installation and commercial driving.
A celebration of Sams life will be scheduled in Malone at a future date. A graveside service will be scheduled this summer in Belfort.
In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the North Country Animal Shelter in Malone or the Lewis County Humane Society.
