Man accused of possessing false state inspection certificate

Watertown police on Friday charged a man with allegedly possessing a false state document.

Edwin Medina Jr., 41, of 253 N. Rutland St., was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument at 1:57 p.m. Friday after he allegedly was found at 100 Academy St. with a forged state inspection certificate.

Mr. Medina was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.
