Man accused of criminal contempt, trespassing

Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 6:30 p.m. Friday charged Paul R. Knox, 43, of 25080 Woolworth St., Champion, with second-degree criminal contempt and criminal trespassing.

Mr. Knox is accused of entering the 22153 Patricia Drive home of his wife, Amanda, who had filed a stay-away order of protection against him.

According to deputies, Mr. Knox entered the home about 6 p.m. Friday and remained there unlawfully.

He was held for arraignment pending an appearance in LeRay Town Court.
