Competitive and really tight.

The Ogdensburg Bowl Senior Youth Bowling League was just that and a whole lot more in the 2012-13 season.

There was a first place tie between the Steelers and Giants at 58-42. There was a second place tie between the Titans and Bills at 56-44. And two wins seperated the Broncos and Steelers at 47 and 45 respectively for fifth and sixth place.

Ironically, the second place Titans had the most pins in the league with 65561.

The Steelers won the tie-breaker for first place over the Giants 65113 to 64809 behind Alicia Shaver (64 games-6441 pins), Rileigh Planty (60-5542), Adrianha Parks (66-5678), Elizabeth Spencer (60-4254) and Abby Raven (60-5822) who moved to the senior division at midseason.

Tied for first but falling in the tiebreaker, the Giants consisted of Brandon Bogart (78-10734), Elijah Downie (75-8859), Ryan Carroll (66-7777), and Thomas Weir (75-9771).

Winning the tiebreaker for second place, third overall, were the Titans over The Bills (65561-65501) consisting of Zach Bidwell (78-8205), Cote Bidwell (78-6897), Jacob Love (66-8096), Nick Vielhauer (57-5841), and Jessica Payne (78-10039).

Fourth place overall went to the Bills, who lost the second place tie-breaker. The team was made up from Tyler Beaulieu (60-4250), Lee Sovie (78-6897), Gerald Sovie (75-7988), Todd Carroll (63-5605)

Fifth place overall and third went to the 49ers consisting of Jakob Sampson (76-7767), Andrew Smith (57-4512), Alexis Weidner (61-8801), and Chris Lovely (75-10335).

Taylor Smith won the Girls Best Average Award with a 168.48 while Zach Worden took first with a 151.92.

Other trophy winners were Travis Pike (535 - High Scratch Series), Tyler Lytle (High Scatch Single - 197), Alicia Sharpe (High Scratch Series 590) and Lexie Weidner (High Scratch Game 202).

Gerald Sovie was the Most Improved Boy Bowler Award winner at plus 23.51 and Adrianha Parks earned the Girls Most Improved Bowler Award at plus 17.03 pins.
