Jeremy C. Graves, 43, of 1728 Huntington St., was charged by city police Wednesday night at 1730 Huntington St. with second-degree harassment, resisting arrest and obstructing emergency medical services.

Police said he swung a closed fist at Officer Kenny C. Noone and kicked Officer Jonathan M. Pitts while they were attempting to arrest him. He also tried to prevent officers from putting handcuffs on him and tried to fight with Guilfoyle emergency medical personnel and city firefighters who treated him for head injuries from a fall he took on blacktop, police said.

He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 bail pending arraignment.
