Angie M. Veres, 35, of 212 N. Rutland St., Apt. 1, was charged by Watertown police Thursday afternoon at her residence with third-degree identity theft.

Ms. Veres allegedly used the Social Security number of Daniel A. Moore, Brooklyn, to get phone service in his name in 2006.

She was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
