Audrey M. Heise, 71, of 16417 Lee Road, Dexter, was charged by Jefferson County Sheriffs deputies at 3:01 a.m. Monday on Route 12F in the town of Hounsfield with driving while intoxicated following a property damage accident.
Deputies said Ms. Heise tried to make a left turn from Route 12F onto Lee Road and failed to keep right, causing the 2007 Chevrolet to go off the road into a ditch. She refused to submit to a chemical test to determine her blood alcohol content, deputies said. She was also given a ticket for failure to keep right.
The following were also charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Reinaldo Bones Jr., 32, of 423 Harris Drive, Apt. 7H, was charged at his home at 8:42 p.m. Saturday with aggravated DWI after Watertown police conducted an investigation into reports of reckless driving. His blood alcohol content was listed as 0.32 percent. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
■ Jeffery R. Bush, 29, of 105 Lake George Road, Russell, was charged Sunday afternoon by Ogdensburg police with aggravated DWI, driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police said Mr. Bush drove off the road at Fine and Congress streets at 2:30 p.m.
He was in possession of and under the influence of Carisoprodol, a muscle relaxant, police said.
■ Michael A. Parks, 63, of 23368 County Route 59, Dexter, was charged by Jefferson County Sheriffs deputies at 8:54 p.m. Sunday on B Adams Road in the town of Brownville. His blood alcohol content was 0.10 percent, deputies said. He was also ticketed with inadequate license plate lamp.
