LYONS FALLS Three members of a Lyons Falls family have been charged in connection with a domestic dispute last month on Edgewood Drive.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies on March 3 charged Maria A. Delano, 38, of 4014 Edgewood Drive, with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief. Then, on Friday, they charged her estranged husband, Michael A. Delano, 41. of 4153 Cherry St., and their son, Brandon M. Delano, 17, of 4014 Edgewood Drive, with second-degree harassment.
The charges are answerable in West Turin Town Court.
Deputies said that Michael and Brandon Delano were involved in a shoving match on Feb. 26, and, after Michael left the residence, Mrs. Delano damaged the windshield, soft top and interior of a 1986 Jeep CJ-7 owned by her and her estranged husband with a crowbar. She also went to another location in the village and spray-painted a 1993 Jeep Wrangler also owned by the couple, also destroying that windshield in the process.
